about | mind at ease organizing

Hi, I'm Marissa.

I'm a lover of systems, fulfilling experiences and all things organizing. Living with less is my jam and I am deliberate about removing anything that distracts me from what matters most

I have my BA in psychology and founded Mind at Ease Organizing in 2013 based on my love for organization, my desire to help others, and my growing knowledge of the impact that disorganization can have on mental health and well-being. I help women achieve work-life balance and live a life of intention by implementing organizational and time management strategies in their home, business and life.

I was the kid that told her parents at 15 that she wanted to travel solo to Spain… and did just that. I’ve spent most of my life looking for opportunities that take me out of my comfort zone; not because I’m wild and adventurous, but because if I didn’t, my fear of living a stagnant, inauthentic and unintentional life would come true.

You know, I think that’s the thing many of us fear. Somewhere along the way -- with age, responsibility and societal pressure we start to give in to our comfort zone. We take less risks because we “are a mom now.” We make more responsible choices because “what if…” becomes a negative (rather than an exciting!) thought.

I was starting to feel like I had to choose between being a good mom or being a good anything else… a struggle I see too many women face daily. The choice between what may be best for them vs what is best for their family. An either/or situation where she always loses.

I wanted it all and wasn't buying the BS that meaningful work could only be achieved at the expense of quality family time. So? I didn't.

I relied on my organizing superpowers to give me the balanced life I so deeply believed I could get. And now I want to share my tools and expertise with others. Whether you're looking for a virtual organizer, looking for an online business manager, or simply stumbled across my website... I'm so glad you're here.

It looks so fresh and renewed! Her solutions are practical and simple. She is very professional and easy to work with. I can't wait to tackle other problem areas in my home with her!"
